...everyone knows what happened. On top of the VT shootings, a family friend back home was shot 9 times and killed. Needless to say, I'm not feeling my best right now.

There is evil in the world, folks. Despite that, there is good too.

There are councellors out there right now from all over the country, God bless them.

and

I heard that there was a lot of people at there funerals, and at one in particular, the girl's Christian walk and relationship with Jesus Christ was emphasized, so many on-lookers got to hear the gospel, maybe for the first time.

I praise God for that...

Hey, my heart goes out to Sung Hui Cho's parents too. They can't be okay right now.

My prayer is that God comforts ALL the families involved.

This was definitely a sad day in history :'(

I actually used to visit the area where the shooting was (before the shooting) for a school trip every year... (VT is only 5 hours away for me). It's scary how I'll never be able to see the same place the same again...

You're familiar with one of the victims?! I'm sorry for you... :'(
Like... I kinda don't understand what's wrong in this world to make people go mad like that...to make everything turn into a war...and not only to ruin their lives, but worse, they ruin others lives along, and destroy them without mercy...

Yeah...the guy probably was really poor... (not talking only about monetary problems but also mentally...), and he probably had some problems with rich guys, that maybe had fun playing around with him. Like, those kind of spoiled guys that are born in a golden cradle... I think you got the point... Like, he probably didn't have anything against the ones that fight and work hard in their lives to be monetarily well in life, but there are people that just born rich and loves to make fun of others. That ain't fair, and probably that lead him into a depression... Eve though that IS NOT a reason AT ALL to kill someone...or so many people like he did... ... (I?m not excusing him...like I don't excuse anyone that pics ANY KIND of a fight without a real reason...for example if it ain't for something like protecting the ones we love...I do not agree with ANY kind of violence...)

Whoa!WHOA! No, my friend wasn't a VT shooting victim. I got too much respect for them and you to let you or anyone think that.

It shocked me, like a wake-up call. no one knows when they're gonna die. We all need Jesus before that happens...seriously.

True, true. I don't know why he did what he did, what his motives were, what drove him or even what gave him the idea. Regarldess of all that, what he ended up doing was not the answer (obviously).

Still, thanks. I appreciate it.

life ( on earth ) will never be perfect, then there's Heaven.
Without Jesus, there's no hope.

Really, what can i say?

I don't know what kind of life the shooter lived but it cannot be a good one considering what it resulted in. It is way too tragic, especially with all the people that got involved. I hope your friend and all those people involved find peace.

sorry, He was at our church for several weeks and spoke on the book of Revalations and really got our blood flowing with inspirational wisdom,
he spoke on many things actually, he emphasised the VT shooting as being an act of demon possession because that was the only spiritual answer, no one in their right mind is capable of mass murder, it takes a demonic boost of power to do such a thing,

it was the shooter's fault for surrendering himself to the demon that drove him to kill, and he is paying the price for his crimes with an eternity burning in hell.

I'm sorry about your friend Robato *hugs* and it's such a sad thing that happened at Vtech. It's so depressing. I was watching one of the girls funerals on tv and her parents and everyone were talking about her faith in God and her walk with the Lord (perhaphs we're thinking of the same girl?) It was really heart warming (and wrenching) to see. I wanted to go to one of the victims funeral because her church was only 15 minutes away but I ended up finding out a bit to late.

Also, I can't imagine what Sung Hui Cho's parents are going through, not only did they lose their child, they have to deal with the fact that their child killed 32 people.

I'll be praying for you regarding your friend.

I'm not so sure if cho had psychiatric problems or being bullied or both but maybe he already lost his path a long time ago. Maybe if he only had friends or so

but what get's me most are the people who were killed and got nothing to do with Cho nor are they bothering him. This world is so complicated now.

it's really confusing...it is. Nobody knows his motives for doing such a thing. There have been talks of conspiracy, but who really knows?
